The Affenpinscher Dog

The Affenpinscher is a wiry-haired  little dog (toy) whose intelligence & personality make it a good family dog.

 This dog is known for it’s loyalty and affection  toward its family.

Originating in Germany, the name Affenpinscher means, "dog that looks like a monkey." The breed was developed to kill rodents in granaries, and stables.

Health Concerns

Affenpinscher dogs are known to have problems with their kneecaps.  The kneecap can pop out of place causing the dog to have problems with walking.

The Affenpinscher does not m to have allergy problems that other dogs have.  In fact because they shed so little that they are a good choice for people with allergies.  The Affenpinscher has a harsh terrier coat.
