The Bedlington Terrier
Developed in England in the 1820's for hunting and racing this slightly coated dog was very popular. The body is graceful and muscular with a slightly curly coat.
The thick coat of the Bedlington Terrier does not shed and should be clipped every 6 weeks.
This very active dog needs plenty of exercise and would be bored and tend to get into mischief without plenty of play time.
They make very good watch dogs and stand 15 inches and weight about 18 to 23 pounds.
The Bedlington Terrier is a good dog for allergies.
