 Food allergies - homemade dog food made in your own kitchen can prevent allergy

Food Allergies and your dog are important because most commercial products contain carcinogens.

Plain and simple; canned dog food and kibble may cause food allergies; and make him so sick that he may die from the ingredients in canned diet dog food allergies can happen to any breed of dogs although there are certain breeds more prone to allergy.

Your dog may be allergic to food, commercial pet feed, allergens, toxic cleaners, fleas and other pests.

There are pets that never have problems with food allergies because they are eating the family dinner that was prepared fresh and not out of a can (who knows what's in that can) or a bag (full of Mc Donald's used grease and preservatives) or a pouch (more preservatives, colorings, fake flavorings).

Commercial Dog food has carcinogens that are known to cause cancer and allergies. They chemical are banned in Europe but are used here. If they are on the label stop using that brand. These are the chemicals;

BHT/BHA and Ethoxyquin

These heavily used preservatives are used in the commercial food industry, not only to preserve fats but to protect the product while in the bag or can. Hopefully some of you have been educated as to the dangerous side-effects of BHT/BHA in our own diets as a serious carcinogen, but little truth has been shared about Ethoxyquin.

This preservative was developed in the 1950's as a rubber stabilizer and herbicide, very similar to Agent Orange! It was either never approved by the FDA or recalled after three years of human use. Their are documented cases of serious side-effects resulting from exposure to, or ingestion of these chemicals. Humans who were working with it in the rubber industry, reported a dramatic rise in such diseases as liver/kidney damage, cancerous skin lesions, loss of hair, blindness, leukemia, fetal abnormalities and chronic diarrhea.

In animals it has been linked to immune deficiency syndrome, spleen, stomach and liver cancer, as well as the above mentioned diseases. My Cairn Terrier, Misty died from Liver cancer at the age of 11. The steady increase in animal cancer and serious diseases has paralleled the increased use of chemical preservatives in the pet food industry during the last twenty-five years.

Would you like your pet to be healthy and live a longer life? Make his food for him. Yeah, I know not always convenient is it? But are you going to believe the dog food industry? The industry that buys it's fillers (corn, wheat (from China) chicken meal (feathers, feet, intestines, ick!) from slaughter houses which have processed dead and diseased cattle. Food is made from road kill and euthanized dogs and cats from shelters. Bodies that have lain in the ranchers yard for days in huge piles waiting for the wagon to drag them by the hooves into their death wagon. It makes me sick to think about it. Read More about food here
