Grooming your dog is an important part of bonding with your pet

Done correctly, grooming and brushing your dog’s hair will have a lasting effect of lowering your blood pressure and the pet’s too.

I always start off with a good brushing to get the tangles out.

Then I bathe my dog from the neck down.  I leave the head for last because I use baby shampoo on the face so that it doesn’t sting my dog’s eyes.

This is a good time for anal glands expression.  If you don’t like that end of your dog you can have your vet do it.
