This rugged little dog comes from an ancient breed of dogs that have been depicted in paintings and Tapestries dating back to the 1500’s.

There are three different sizes to this dog; Giant, Standard and miniature.

All have an angular square look to them and are excellent as watch dogs.

The Schnauzer is an active and energetic dog who will take as much exercise as it can get. They stand 18 to 20 inches for the standard and weigh about 35 to 40 pounds. If this is too much or too little dog, you can always go up or down depending on what you need. They adapt well to city life but needs plenty of exercise.
